  • Worker Support Fund (FONACOT)
  • Christmas Bonus
  • Profit sharing (if any)

  • Paid vacation
Additional benefits  
In addition to fair salaries, Wal-Mart provides associates with additional benefits such as:  

 
  • Fifteen additional days of Christmas bonus (for associates that have worked for a full year)

  • Health insurance for major medical expenses (eligible positions)
  • Savings Fund
  • Stakeholders’ Fund (should annual sales plan be exceeded)

We also have a Vendor Agreement program which offers services and entertainment at affordable prices, or with very attractive discounts, to our associates and their relatives.
 
Quality of life  

We care about our associates and their relatives, and want to improve the quality of their lives. Hence, we’ve created committees that listen to their concerns and needs.  Thanks to the help of these committees we now have action plans to help associates balance their personal and professional lives.

Our relocation initiative, for example, has made a significant impact on the lives of many associates. The initiative offers the possibility of relocating associates closer to the unit, distribution center, or office where they work, anywhere in Mexico. 
Throughout 2007, 4,569 associates were transferred to units nearby their homes, saving time and money, and directly improving their quality of life.
