Recycling |
Through the initiative sponsored by Superama –The Store of Your Community- environmental care and protection is promoted among its units and customers. With this program, green areas receive maintenance through monthly activities in favor of ecology, and awareness is raised in the community regarding the importance of recycling multilayer packages. In an alliance with the Junior League of Mexico and support from TetraPak and the San Jose Paper Company, the production and consumption cycle for the sustainability of multilayer paper can be completed.
Each Superama has a recycling bin for TetraPak packages.
Participate and help us turn your community into a better place to live!
For each ton of multilayer packages collected, 17 trees are saved.
Thanks to the help received from all our customers and associates in our stores, we managed to collect 53 tons of Multilayer Packages (Tetra Pak) during 2007, which represent saving the life of 901 trees.
Thank you for all your help!
