Given the current water constraints in Mexico and as part of its commitment to the environment, Walmart de México launched its “Now it’s the time to save” contest, whose goal is raising awareness among 170,000 associates and their families to foster water-saving habits inside and outside the company. With this initiative the reduction of over 10% in water consumption is expected in a two-month period.
The National Walmart de Mexico Water Saving Contest will last two months. During this period company associates will implement activities to encourage water consumption both at work, and at their homes.
