Wal-Mart de Mexico started a massive price reduction plan of 1,000 staple items, in 136 Wal-Mart Supercenter units, and 1,000 in 309 Bodega Aurrera units.

Said price reduction in staple items is found in almost all departments, from fresh, to produce, to groceries, to consumables, to general merchandise, among others.

These price reductions in staple items add to the 2,500 products of other categories in both retail formats.

Bodega Aurrerá started this reduction last Monday, January 7, with its ‘The uphill climb is a downhill road at Bodega Aurrerá’, while Wal-Mart Supercenter has the reductions as part of its “Wal-Mart, Low Prices. Always” campaign

This massive price reduction will be in forced for at least 30 days, Wal-Mart de Mexico responds to the Federal Government’s calling to support the family economy with savings generated by the company and transfer them to their customers in operational efficiencies and collaborative work with suppliers.
